Forsk announces that Turkish operator Telsim has completed the roll-out of Atoll^TM as its new GSM/GPRS planning tool. Telsim chose to replace its former  system, which had become obsolete, with a Windows and Oracle-based multi-region configuration of Atoll^TM.

The Atoll^TM database is located in Telsim HQ and accessed through Telsim’s MAN by the users throughout Turkey.

“We've been evaluating different tools and Atoll^TM was found to be the most user friendly and technologically advanced. ” says Ferhan Gunen, RAN Unit Planning Manager at Telsim.

Atoll^TM will also be used by Telsim for the planning of its future UMTS network.
