Forsk announces today a new ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) module for
Atoll. This new fully and seamlessly integrated Atoll module will
enable operators to automatically find the best network settings and
improve the network quality both in terms of coverage and capacity.
Atoll ACP module is targeted at both initial deployment and
existing network optimisation. For initial deployments, Atoll ACP
module allows operators to select optimal sites and set optimal
antenna parameters. Atoll ACP module also helps improving existing
networks through automatic optimisation of the main parameters
remotely controllable by operators.
Atoll ACP module is based on components from Softwave Wireless,
whose ACP software technology is being used by major European wireless
operators. Atoll ACP module will be distributed and supported by Forsk
and its partners as part of its Atoll RF planning & optimisation
software portfolio.
This new product is in-line with Forsk’s strategy to deliver –
through Atoll - a comprehensive RF planning and optimisation software
solution to wireless operators and vendors. Atoll also is an open and
flexible platform that supports the largest 3rd party software
offering on the market.
