Forsk announces a new WiMAX module for Atoll™. It includes state-of-the-art WiMAX and Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) planning features, and has been developed in partnership with WiMAX equipment suppliers. The introduction of the WiMAX module in the Atoll™product range is in line with Forsk’s strategy to support all the major wireless technologies, including GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSDPA, CDMA 2000 1xRTT/EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, Microwave Links and now WiMAX/BWA.

Commercial availability of the Atoll WiMAX module is scheduled for Q2 2006.
