Forsk announces that the new version 2.5 of Atoll is now available.  Atoll version 2.5 incorporates a number of enhancements and new features for all technologies. Major additions in Atoll 2.5 include:

• Extended UMTS/HSDPA Monte-Carlo simulator with full support of HSDPA/R99 traffic mix,

• Enhancements in the CDMA2000 1xRTT/EV-DO and GSM/GPRS modules,

• New WiMAX module (availability Q2 2006),

• New version of the TD-SDCMA module with an extended simulator and full support of smart antennas,

• New version of Atoll Microwave with support for Point-to-Multipoint Links.

Atoll version 2.5 further extends the concept of multi-technology radio planning software, and provides operators with a flexible package that supports all major radio access technologies.
