Forsk announces it has completed a new Atoll project for China Mobile Shanghai branch. Forsk has provided China Mobile Shanghai with Atoll GSM and Atoll ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) licenses, as well as installation and training services.

Forsk announces that the CDMA2000 ACP module for Atoll is now available. It provides CDMA2000 operators with the same integrated ACP features Forsk delivers for GSM, UMTS, WiMAX, and LTE. The functions of the CDMA2000 ACP module integrate seamlessly into the Atoll GUI and can be used from the standard Atoll working environment.

Mar. 28, 2011 - French Operator Free Mobile Selects Atoll

Forsk announces a contract with Free Mobile who has selected Atoll for the design of its mobile network. Free Mobile, the new incoming mobile operator in France, is currently designing its 3G network planned to be on-air early in 2012.

Forsk announces it has completed the roll-out of Atoll at Telefónica O₂ Germany. Forsk has delivered a complete project that included Atoll licenses, data migration from the previous radio planning software, integration and user training. Forsk also has calibrated the Atoll propagation model for all frequency bands operated by Telefónica O₂ Germany.

Deployments of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) have dramatically increased in recent years as a way for operators to expand their network coverage in areas where traditional wireless sites are not an option. As part of its R&D effort, Forsk has developed advanced network modelling features for Atoll which supports Distributed Antenna Systems and models how they expand coverage and integrate with the whole wireless network.
