Automatic Cell Planning with Atoll Webinar
The Atoll Automatic Cell Planning (ACP) module provides automated network optimisation functions that help operators design new cells and optimise existing cells. Atoll ACP can use live network data such as KPIs and UE/cell traces in order to combine predictions with real-world information throughout the optimisation process. The Atoll ACP supports integrated 3GPP (GSM/UMTS/LTE/NB-IoT) and 3GPP2 (CDMA/LTE/NB-IoT) networks, as well as Wi-Fi and LPWA.

Atoll ACP General Features
An overview of the module, its main components and settings is provided as a general description of the ACP.
Optimisation Targets
The optimisation targets define the areas and network parts to be optimised. Atoll ACP flexible zoning features along with detailed network architecture modelling allow for precise scope definitions. The usage of vector polygons and network performance maps is explained and demonstrated on a network example.
Optimisation Objectives
The objectives in the ACP include multiple technologies and technology layers. Complex optimisation objectives have been detailed and configured to allow the ACP to efficiently improve the network performance.
Live Data Assisted Optimisation using KPIs
KPI information provide an insight into the how cells are performing in the network. This part of the webinar provides the ways of how to use the KPIs to define specific areas where the network need to be optimised.
Using Geo-located Data in the ACP
The user positions and the reported values of signal strength, quality and throughput allow precise area optimisation and efficient new site deployment. During the webinar the main features and procedures are presented for geo-located data visualisation, configuration and use in the Atoll ACP.
LTE Macro Site Optimisation Scenario
A macro site optimisation scenario is been selected as an example of existing site parameter optimisation.
