Forsk, a leading provider of radio network design and optimisation solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement to join Nokia’s MantaRay Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) Marketplace.
This agreement marks an important step forward in the collaboration between the two companies, allowing Forsk to further enhance interoperability and integration capabilities with Nokia’s advanced network automation ecosystem.
“We are very pleased to strengthen our cooperation with Nokia through this agreement,” said Benoit Guy, CEO at Forsk. “Access to the MantaRay SMO will allow us to further integrate our solutions into Nokia’s automation framework and deliver enhanced capabilities to our customers. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to enabling smarter, more efficient network operations.”
The MantaRay SMO platform is designed to support cloud-native, multi-vendor network automation and orchestration, playing a key role in the evolution toward fully autonomous networks. By combining Forsk’s expertise in radio network planning and optimisation with Nokia’s orchestration capabilities, the two companies aim to provide operators with powerful tools to manage increasingly complex network environments.
“We are happy to continue working closely with Nokia and to deepen our collaboration as the industry moves toward greater automation,” added Benoit Guy. “Together, we are helping operators unlock the full potential of their networks.”
About Forsk
Forsk is an independent software company providing operators and vendors with wireless network design and optimisation products.
Atoll, Forsk's flagship product, is a multi-technology wireless network design and optimisation software that allows operators to streamline planning and optimisation activities by combining predictions and live network data. With more than 11,000 installed licenses in over 140 countries, Atoll has become the industry standard for wireless network design and optimisation.
Naos is Forsk's automation platform dedicated to wireless network planning and optimisation. Naos is a cloud-native platform that enables operators to scale and automate planning and optimisation processes through on-premises or cloud-based deployments. Typical use cases include 5G site selection as well as massive coverage calculations and optimisation processes.
Atoll One is a dedicated version of Atoll, specifically designed for the planning and optimisation of small to medium-sized outdoor and indoor Private Mobile Networks.
Atoll and Naos provide operators with a comprehensive framework for integrated, interactive, fully automated and scalable wireless network planning and optimisation. Atoll and Naos are available from Forsk's offices and technical support centres in France, USA, and China, as well as from a worldwide network of distributors and partners.
