Forsk, a leading provider of network planning and optimisation software, announces the signing of a multi-year contract with U Mobile, a Malaysian mobile network operator. Under this agreement, U Mobile has selected Atoll as its network planning solution.
As part of the contract, U Mobile will use Atoll to plan, optimise and evolve its Radio Access Network (RAN) for both LTE and 5G technologies. Atoll will replace the operator’s existing planning tools, providing a single platform to support network performance improvements and the rollout of next-generation services.
With this agreement, Atoll is now used for network planning by all mobile network operators in Malaysia.
